Green America’s Green Business Network sees new commission-based Membership recruitment program as a win-win-win for green businesses, the green economy, and cash-strapped supporters of the organization.

Washington, D.C. A new program of Green America rewards volunteers with cash for bringing new businesses on board as Members of their Green Business Network. They join forces with GreenAffiliates.Biz to engage thousands of green-minded web surfers, bloggers, and e-commerce professionals in growing the green economy by bringing socially responsible businesses into the Network, where they can access the organization’s marketing, mentorship, and educational support.

With green commerce on the rise, Green America wants to make sure that authentically green businesses – and those wanting to go green – find a home in their Green Business Network. What better way to reach green businesses than with a corps of Internet activists reaching out to hundreds of businesses every day. And with personal budgets shrinking, a little cash incentive can’t hurt.

“These economic times bring challenges as well as opportunities. With green markets growing faster than traditional markets, and the stimulus plan supporting green initiatives, the time is right to usher in the Green Economy,” says Denise Hamler Green Business Network director. “We need to reach out to green businesses and businesses just starting their journey.
