Terms & Conditions

• 1. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.


• 2. GreenAffiliates.biz respects your privacy and will not disclose personal information to third parties without your express permission.


• 3. You may place the coded links, photos, banners, and text we supply to you anywhere on your websites, listservs, blogs, newsletters, print materials, etc., as you see fit, or within non-spam emails.


• 4. The following types of sites are not allowed: adult sites or sites with adult banners; sites that promote hate, bigotry, or violence; sites that promote illegal activity; gambling sites; hit farms, banner networks, and hacking sites; and any other site we deem unacceptable, at our sole discretion.


• 5. You shall not provide, promote, distribute, place or otherwise publish as an Affiliate of the Service any content - or Web site that includes content - which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, fraudulent or violates any law.


• 6. The following are STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
  • a. Spamming (we will terminate your account on the first offense of spamming). Spamming is: sending email to lists that you do not have permission to contact.
  • b. Uses of banners or links in banner networks, hit farms, counters, or guestbooks etc.
  • c. Placement of creative in a "Desktop" advertising scheme without permission from GreenAffiliates.biz. This includes any and all 3rd party advertising platforms that use a desktop application to display ads in any form.
  • d. Display of a window that isn't the result of a direct click by the end-user.


• 7. In addition to the specific terms of this agreement, we expect Affiliates to use sound judgment about promoting nonprofits and socially responsible companies in a tasteful, transparent, intelligent manner which is appropriate to the forum in which you are posting. In other words, no obnoxious, “used car salesman” marketing practices or verbage.


• 8. As an Affiliate, You may not artificially inflate your activity using any device, program, robot or other means, including but not limited to JavaScript pop-up windows and redirects.


• 9. All statistics are collected and calculated by GreenAffiliates, and will be the only valid stats used for determining commissions.


• 10. We may change the service now and then, but we’ll always inform you via email.


• 11. At this time, any page that contains GreenAffiliates links, banners, or code must be written in English and based in the United States, Canada, or Great Britain. This list will expand as we integrate new site security measures.


• 12. Your physical address listed for receiving checks MUST be your actual address. Mail forwarding services, for the purpose of avoiding network demographics or rules, is NOT allowed. For example, if you choose USA as your country, you must be in the USA.


• 13. As an Affiliate, you can only have 1 account. You can list multiple domains in one account, but only one account is allowed. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited (i.e. you cannot use your Affiliate Commission to obtain a discount for your own company’s purchases).


• 14. You won't hold us liable for anything, and a link to a non-Green Affiliates Web site does not mean that GreenAffiliates endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content or the use of such Web site.


• 15. Affiliate accounts that are left inactive for 6 months or more, without letting us know you’d like to stay active, will be considered abandoned and will be removed from our system with commissions forfeited and donated to our partner nonprofits.


• 16. Affiliates may not independently offer portions of their commissions to other individuals or entities for referrals of Visitors to their banners or sites through this service.


• 17. Fraud is a serious offense, and will be treated as such. Fraud is defined as any action that intentionally attempts to create fraudulent sales or commissions, such as using robots, frames, iframes, scripts, or manually "refreshing" of pages. Any attempted or actual fraud will be treated as such and will result in immediate removal from the program and possible legal action.


• 18. Links may not be placed in unsolicited e-mail, ICQ, banner networks, counters or guestbooks. Any Link placed must be done in such a way that it is not misleading to any Visitor and done with the intention of delivering valid sales.


• 19. GreenAffiliates reserves the right to deem any website inappropriate and to terminate the site as a member of GreenAffiliates. If You are terminated from the Service, GreenAffiliates has the right to withhold money You earned within the Service or money that You owe within the Service and You will not be allowed to re-join GreenAffiliates.
